Kicking Off 2010

Another decade has come and gone, and Wood-Mizer is looking toward the future - a future that promises more products and services for Wood-Mizer customers. To kick things off, the week of January 25 was the company's National Sales Meeting which brought together Sales staff, Regional Branch managers and Authorized Sales Center employees from across the country. This team spent several days at the global headquarters learning about exciting products and services.

As many of you know, our product line doesn't stop just at portable sawmills, and, in an effort to better serve all of your sawing needs, we've made it so that you can purchase any Wood-Mizer, Wood-Mizer Blades, and AWMV Industrial product through any one of our locations. That means the same person you've developed a trusting relationship with will be able to help you with a wider range of needs. Please know, though, that while you may be talking to just one person, he or she is backed by the industry's best research and development, engineering, technical support, and customer service people.

The year 2010 is already off to a great start. The new 2010 portable sawmills are packed to the MAX with power and features. Wood-Mizer Blades has more blade and sharpening options than ever. And, the AWMV Industrial line is introducing a new Small Log Processing system in the US that is already a proven performer in several countries around the world.  For those high production operations, AWMV has expanded the line of headrig saws to include larger log capacity, faster hydraulics, and better log handling.
